Rome!

So Random. This is the last photo i took in Rome and its the first one you will see... Im not very good at the night shots but am getting to know my camera well. Its the Colusium at night incase you cant really tell what it is.
We lined up for 2 hours to get into the Vatican City. It was so worth it. We got to see the Sisteen Chaple which was amazing. They have professional susshers there doing the shhhh every couple of minutes. Its quite funny. I loved it. THere were so many people in there as well. It was alot smaller than i thought it would be but then again it may have only looked small because there were so many people in there. Many thanks to Justin Trudgeon who gave us the heads up to go straight there when we got into the Vatican City cos as we were leaving there was the line up happening!
This is St Peters Cathedral Where i was very tired and hungry but had to go in and check out where the Pope hangs out. He wasnt there that day Justin so i couldnt say G'day to hime for you. You will just have to come back and say it yourself!
This is inside St Peters. Very very over the top but so nice. I like it cos you are aloud to take photos as well. Its amazing how many places say no cameras.
Here we are inside the Colusium. That was amazing. It was a very hot day too so you could only emagine what it would be like in there with crowds of people. It wasnt very busy when we went in. We walked straight up and got our tickets and went straight inside.

We are now in Rome. This photo is of us sitting on the Spanish steps.
This is the view from the top of the Spanish steps.
The Spanish Steps!

Hanna infront of the Trevi Fountain!

Us infront of the Trevi Fountain.

They say if you throw one coin over your left sholder into the Trevi Fountain you will have good luck. If you throw 2 you will return to Rome. If you throw 3 you will marry an Italian. I didnt throw any. Im gathered by a much greater force than luck. I will return to Rome if i want to and i don want to marry an Italian!!!

This is a street performer that i thought looked amazing until i saw them all over Rome.
The Trevi Fountain again

I have so many photos of Rome. It was one amazing place. We loved it. Our walking tour was 7.6kms and we saw so much of Rome. I didnt want to miss a thing. Walking into the Colosium was amazing. I kept picturing a Knights Tail in my head. Picturing all the people standing around watching into the pits. It was amazing.

Seeing all the ruins was very cool too. They had just recently found more ruins for us to see and aparently have so much more to find.

Sorry the photos are so random but i have taken so many that i just want to put them all on.

Venice!

So here we are in Venice. Top photo is of us in the "Love Seat" on the Gondola!
Here we are floating down the cannel in Venice with Mark & Charlotte. We were going to swap seats after 10 mins but you are not aloud to move around the Gondola. So unfortunantley Ben and I had to stay in the love seat.

Here we are standing on a bridge over the Cannel.
This is the bridge of sighs. Its called the brige of sighs because everyone who was entering the Jail to the left would sigh as they were walking over the bridge!
In Venice is where we decided to take some black and white photos. We think it makes Venice look nicer!

This is the bridge on which the markets are on. There are 5 different stores then they are repeited. You can get lots of Masks which were absolutley amazing. I wanted them all but Ben said no!

So all in all we had a good day in Venice. When we got there and had a look around we got to go to a lace demonstration. It was quite amazing to hear how much detail goes into Grannies Doilies but its something Ben and i are not terribaly interested in. We did enjoy seeing something that only happens in Venice though.
Im also renaming the Grand Cannel to "The Bloody Big Cannel"! Do you think that will catch on?
We went out to a little Italian restaurant for dinner where Ben was wanting to have Spaghetti Bolognese and call Mina at the same time. He ended up having Spaghetti and Meatballs and didnt call Mina cos it was 3am!
Venice was one place i was really looking forward to and was a little disappointed. They make it far more attractive in movies and in pictures. It has a very dirty smell to it which im sure you get use to over time. Aparently it gets worse in the wet season!!!

Austria!

We didnt really get to do much in Austria as Ben was a little under the weather... But we did have a wonder around to check out where we were staying. Good views!

Munchen!

So this is after a couple of beers. From the left half of team Columbia ( Ali), Megs (our team leader), Ben and Myself!
All the photos are a little random and work backwards sorry!
After a couple of drinks and these old people hanging out with us. As they were leaving the boys wanted a photo with them, Ben landed a nice big kiss on the old ladies cheek! She loved it. And of course thought he was charming!
Is this a nice one of the two of us. How sober do you think Ben is???
Ben and Shaun loved it. Ben doesnt even remember doing this with shaun.
This table of boys were sitting behind us. All German and all Bens best mates by the end of the night. Ben would "Brost" everyone, even people he didnt know! "Brost" = "Cheers"
Surprise surprise... Bens BMW raidar has been working overtime whils in Germany and it piked up this big line of M6s which we had to take a million photos of and look at for a very long time. He was in love!
Photo is a tad fuzzy but this is our table at the Hoffbrough house (Beer Hall) Where all the boys were waiting patiently for their beers.
And here is Bens 1st one. Look at that big grin!!!
He started off well.
As you well know this would have to be a posed photo as i do not drink Beer. That was the heaviest beer i have ever lifted and all the staff carry like 10 of these at a time. 5 in each hand. Ouch!
Here we are in Munchen. Hopefully i have spelt that right. If i havent i dont care. Was alot different to what we thought. Ben thought it would have alot more high rise buildings and i dont really know what i thought it would look like.

Here are some random photos of some buildings in the city.

This photo is for Kirk! He just drove past us in the street at the right time. Ben said "Kirk would love this" and snapped a shot!
