Exmoth & Torquay

This is us at Torquay. Its about 45 mins from where we are... just like home. Very different. Ben thinks it is Vey stuck in the 80's. Quite funny actually.
This was a nice water fountain that we saw. Just thought i would put that one in!
This is of the church and houses from the water front. There would be some houses with some amazing views. Cost a bunch too!
Here is the two of us in the garden on the water front. Look how green it is. Bet there is nothing green in Oz hey!
This Photo doesnt really do the Sea Gull justice.... Its massive. We have never seen sea gulls this big before. We were told about them but wen we saw one... Oh my goodness they look like the size of 2 put together! I will take a better photo so you can see the size up against something!
Oh the photos below are where we went first, the we went to Torquay.

Hi all... This is us on the Exmoth Beach. We Got the company car today and headed off to Exmoth for a drive and a look see! It was nice. Not like home though. I wore my flip flops again today and it was nice to feel the sand in my feet!
This is the Holy Trinnity Church of Exmoth. Was nice and large. Ben wanted to go in but i said no. I think if you have seen inside one you have seen them all. May have to change my thinking.
The beach!
This is where we had lunch today. We had nachos and coke. Coke tastes funny here... Even more so when it is Post Mix! The cafe was cool, it had a pirate theme. Ben liked it.
Here is another shot of Exmoth beach!

    Torquay looks lovely.
It is actually raining here today - was really nice to have to frantically run to the car with uni books and scrable for my keys - then try to remember where my wipers in the mini are - dust the cobwebs off them and crank them to full speed! - but it is like anything in the mini - go, or stop!!!
Missing you heaps and am very proud of you both. Make sure you get that picture of Ben behind the bar - WE WANT PROOF!
Oh yeah, kirk is back from America - ill email you some pics - he had a blast!

OOO coke tastes different there, hey? Interesting!
You're right.. it's very green there. Well.. green compared to Geelong... every time go back there it's browner.
For some reason I get that stupid Christmas Carol in my head when I think about the drought.. uno the one with the red dust and something about the grass in the paddocks being brown?? Hmm... ok so I only hum the tune but at least it makes sense to me now!
