We are Geelong the GREATEST team of all!!!

Go Cats!!!!
So we thought we would tell you how our day went on Grand Final day.
We all got up between 4:30am and 5:30am to discover that "Satanta" (Similar to Foxtel) wasnt going to work!!! Ben & Justins hearts fell to the floor. We tried calling them to get it all working but they didnt open til 8am. Devistating! First bounce was at 5:30am and it didnt look like we were going to be able to watch it.
So we called all the Walkabout pubs to see if we had the wrong chanel... it turned out some people were having technical difficulties. So We decided we had to do something and fast. We all decided to drive to London (an hour away) and try to watch a re run with out anyone telling us the scores or anything of the sort. No such luck for sure.
We found out that the walk about in Sheapards Bush was playing it for the first time at 9:30am. We all switched off our mobile phones and drove into London. Alex has a Tomtom (Sat Nav) so we had our directions it was all a matter of traffic. We didnt have any trouble at all. We made it in 49 mins. We found car parks in a side street that we didnt need tickets for, then when we got to the Walkabout, it was free to get in and we were one of the first ones there!!!
Not one person spoilt the results for us. All the people who were around in Sheapards Bush were waiting to come in and watchthe game. Amazing.
In the end we had an awesome time and watching the Catters thrash Port in a pub in London with the day we had has turned out to be one of the most memorable day ever! If you cant be at the MCG then where else would be as memorable???
So all in all we had an awesome day apart from being up at 4:30am.
We got back to Justin & Simones and turned our phones back on and the messages and phone calls came fludding in!!! Thanks Guys.

Majorca - Spain

On the 20th of September, Ben and i went to Majorca in Spain with our friends Alex, Mandy and their 10 month old daughter Isla. We went for 7 nights to an all inclusive holiday and had an absolute ball. We ate all we could eat and made very good use of the free bar. We played Tennis most mornings followed by a swim in the Med sea!
The photo above is the view from our room in the Hotel.

Here we are having some local drinks neer the pool and bar.
This is where we walked most days along the water. Mandy got up most mornings for a run along this area. It was really gorgeous. And yes i have broken my second pair of glasses since being over seas.
This is the pool at the hotel which was freezing cold. I didnt swim but Ben, Alex, Mandy & Isla did. It had to be a fair bit warmer for me to swim. I did swim in the sea.
Here is Ben jumping off a cliff into the sea. He and Alex did it a fair few times just so i could take photos... Boys!!!!

We got back to London on the 27th and went and stayed at the globetrotter inn for the night. The next day we went to the National Gallary and looked at all the painings while it poured with rain all day.

We then headed to Justin & Simones house it Yateley where we met up with Alex & Mandy again for one last time!

I havent put many photos on here as we are on a dial up connection at Justin & Simones and it takes about 20 mins for photos to load.

New Forest!!!

Yesterday we drove from Brighton back to Woodbury Salterton. Simone had told us about New Forest where horses rome free over the roads and stuff, so of course we had to check it out.

It was very weird to see horses just wondering around where ever they like.
We then ended up back at Woodbury Salterton.
We are staying with Alex, Mandy & Isla until Wednesday.
On Thursday we are off to Spain for a week. We are looking forward to soaking up some sun.

Pluckley - The Darling Buds of May!!!

A couple of days ago we Hired a car and drove to Pluckley in Kent so i could see the home of the Darling buds of may. These photos are mainly for mum to see.
This butcher and convenience store is in the show.

This is the Church where Primrose is stalking the Vicker. It was Exactly the way it was in the show.
We believe this is the house off in the distance. It was as close as we could get to it.
This is the driveway which we know we werent aloud to go up.

I was very excited to finally get to Pluckley. I always said to mum that if i ever went to England, I would have to go see where the Darling Buds of may was filmed... And now i have!!!

Kensington Palace!!!

The other day we revisited Kensington Palace. This time with the camera.
Everything was to do with Princess Diana. There are silver flowers in this garden in rememberance of Diana
This is the Kensington Palace Round pond "The Diana Princess Of Wales Memorial walk"
This is the Diana Memorial Water fountain which is absolutley freezing to put your feet in.
And we saw this privatley hired Red Bus as a wedding car. Very cool. This was on our way back to our Hostel.

Canal Boat Cruise Continued!!!

Here is a tou through our tight yet oh so spacious canal boat. It was our home for 4 nights and we loved it. The pic above is where we ate our meals (the ones we had on the boat). If you take the table away, it turns into a bed.
Here is Justin cooking pancakes for breakfast. We couldnt find any maple syrup so we had to make do with nutella and jam. Yummy.
this is the other end of the boat that turns into another bed. This was a little more spacious than the other end.
Just a view into the boat from the outside.
We didnt take a photo of the bathroom as we do not need a reminder of the smell a boat toilet smells like. Yuck.
So just a little run down here, infront of us is whats called a lock. When there is hill, they conserve the water by putting these locks in to not waiste water. So we had to get the boat up these locks and then in 2 days time, we had to come back down.
Here is Ben being the driver. Meanwhile, Simone, Justin & myself had to empty the lock of water, Ben drove the boat in and then we had to fill the lock back up again.
Looking at a lock.
Waiting for the lock to fill back up.
Justin & Simone winding open the lock to fill it with water.
Justin taking it easy with driving the boat instead of doing the locks.
On our wa back down, Simone did an awesome job in driving the boat while Ben and Justin filled and emptied ALL the locks. Whilst they were waiting for the locks to fill and empty they kicked the footy to eachoter to pass the time. They got a good 2 hours of kicking in for all 12 locks.

Cheshire Canal Boat Cruise with Justin & Simone!!!

Welcome to Cheshire and welcome aboard the Sutton!
This was our home for 4 nights.
The photos are in no specific order.
Well let us first say, we had our reservations about spending 4 nights on a Canal boat... We can now say that we had the best 4 nights together, doing something we never thought we would do or enjoy and wish we went for longer! Scroll through to see how much fun Justin, Simone & ourselves had. x x x

The 4 of us on day 1 - Very excited

Our first bridge. Many many photos of endless bridges - Fantastic

Ben jumped out of the boat & ran up a bridge to get this great photo as we were going under the bridge! Well done Ben

The first mate!!! (Justin was Captain)

Germany!!!

Hi all,
We had a blast in Germany. the BMW musium was not finished yet so we had to make do with the make-shift one which was good anyway. It only cost 2 euro anyway.
The weather was aweful. It rained the whole time but we still managed to see all we wanted to.
We went to the BMW factory yesterday. I thought a 2 - 3 hour tour in a factory was goint to be a struggle for me, but i loved it heaps. I cant say i loved it as much as Ben did... But i was so amazed at how they pump out over 850 3 series per day! It was amazing to see 12 robots working on 1 car at the same time and they were mm perfect. No crashing into eachother! It was awesome to see the paint shop and how it all works and the best part was watching the body of the car being put together. I never ever heard of spot welding before and now i know how a BMW is held together! So i guess you can say we really really enjoyed the trip to Germany. I will hopefully put some pics up for you all soon. We are at the Globetrotters Hostel at the moment and you are not aloud to use your own laptops in the computer room so ill have to go to an internet cafe! We love and miss you all! We are on Holidays YAY.
PS Being back in London is really breaking the bank :(

I will keep you all informed on our travels as much as possible although we cannot tell how much we will be near the internet. We have heaps of photos from our going away week long party which i will put on as soon as im on my own computer.
